About Us

Nicky is a qualified teacher with more than 13 years experience. Her last teaching post was in a special school where she taught children from ages 2 to 19 years old. She gained extensive experience in using sensory activities to support these children with their learning. She was also the Makaton signing leader during this time. In our LittLe Nature Tot sessions, you may see Nicky using some simple signs during songs and stories to encourage interaction and support understanding. 

Nicky has always enjoyed being outside in the fresh air and her happy place is being amongst the trees! 

Since becoming a mummy to two gorgeous little boys, she has seen how much her children gain physically and mentally when playing and learning outside. 

With this in mind, she has developed ‘Nurtured with nature’ which combines all of her passions: education, well being and the outdoors.
