Little Nature Tots is an outdoor learning group. Each session is themed around a story or topic.
We provide lots of stimulating and exciting activities for your child to learn and explore:
🌿 Story time
🌿 Sensory trays
🌿 Wild play including mud kitchen
🌿 Craft table
🌿 In some sessions, children can use tools to create something special to take home.
🌿 Rhyme time
Sometimes the best learning happens when children can create their own adventures! Your child can join in with as much or as little as they like.
🔥The campfire will be lit during most sessions (weather permitting) and everyone will receive a warm drink and a campfire snack. Fruit and biscuits will also be provided.
These sessions are run by Nicky who is a qualified teacher with more than 13 years experience.
She is also a Level 3 Forest School Leader, which enables her to safely teach tool use and firelighting.
Nicky has her Forest School First Aid certificate and has completed Level 2 Food Safety training.
She holds an enhanced DBS certificate.
The activities at Little Nature Tots are ideally suited to toddlers and pre school children (18 months - 5 years) but babies and non walkers are more than welcome.
Parents and guardians are required to stay with their child to support their adventures and learning.
Sessions are approximately 90 minutes.
Adults and children need to wear appropriate clothing for the weather e.g. waterproofs, wellies, warm clothes/ suncream, sun hats.
There are toilet facilities which are located near the stables and parking area. Please note that this is a fair walk away from the paddocks. If your child is potty training it may be wise to bring a potty and disposable nappy bags with you as they may not make it to the toilet in time! Please be reassured that Wild wees are acceptable!
Please note that sessions will only be cancelled if torrential rain, thunderstorms or high winds are forecast.
Little Nature Tots is term time only and is run as a six week block of sessions.
By booking a block of sessions you will save money!
The cost for a block of six sessions is £54 (only £9 per session!) for one adult and one child*
This includes 90 minutes of sensory and craft activities, access to the wild play area and a campfire snack, biscuits and hot drinks/ juice for all. Babies and non walkers who attend with a sibling are free.
You can also book one-off single sessions which are £10 per session for 1 adult and 1 child.
Please note: Additional adults are £2.50 each. This includes hot drinks, biscuits and campfire toast.
