We’re proud to offer the only Forest School stay and play group in Over Wyre, nestled in a beautiful woodland meadow 🌳
All sessions are led by an experienced teacher and qualified Forest School leader.
Our sessions provide a gentle, nurturing space where young children can explore nature, develop confidence and independence, and enjoy the freedom of outdoor play in a safe environment, alongside their grown-ups.
From gentle ponies waiting to say hello to cosy campfire moments, muddy adventures and creative nature-inspired activities, there’s always something to discover 🐴 🌱🪵
Each week brings a new seasonal theme inspired by classic children’s stories, encouraging children to learn, imagine and explore together. Children can cook up creations in our mud kitchen, climb and roam in our wild play area, make beautiful crafts from natural resources, investigate the changing seasons and simply enjoy being immersed in the natural world 🌼🍃
At Little Nature Tots, we believe outdoor learning is about so much more than learning about nature. It’s about well-being, connection, confidence, curiosity and belonging 💚
It’s a place for children to get muddy, make friends, discover new skills and experience the wonder of the outdoors—and for grown-ups to meet like-minded families and enjoy meaningful time together in a safe, natural environment.

The activities at Little Nature Tots are ideally suited to toddlers and pre school children (18 months - 5 years) but babies and non walkers are more than welcome.
Parents and guardians are required to stay with their child to support their adventures and learning.
Sessions are approximately 90 minutes.
Adults and children need to wear appropriate clothing for the weather e.g. waterproofs, wellies, warm clothes/ suncream, sun hats.
There are toilet facilities which are located near the stables and parking area. Please note that this is a fair walk away from the paddocks. If your child is potty training it may be wise to bring a potty and disposable nappy bags with you as they may not make it to the toilet in time! Please be reassured that Wild wees are acceptable!
Please note that sessions will only be cancelled if torrential rain, thunderstorms or high winds are forecast.
Little Nature Tots is term time only and is run as a block of sessions.
If you book a block of sessions, the cost is only £9 per session! (This price is for one adult and one child)
This includes 90 minutes of sensory and craft activities, access to the wild play area and a campfire snack, biscuits and hot drinks/ juice for all. Babies and non walkers who attend with a sibling are free.
You can also book one-off single sessions which are £10 per session for 1 adult and 1 child.
Please note: Additional adults are £2.50 each. This includes hot drinks, biscuits and campfire toast.
